By SUSAN KING AND RENE LYNCH Billy Crystalreturned as host for the ninth time Sunday evening at the 84th Academy Awards after far too long of an absence. Crystal hasn't hosted since 2004 - and he wasn't even supposed to host this year.
Justin Bieber — now there's a face we didn't expect to see at the Oscars tonight. The pop star made a cameo in the show's infamous opening montage opposite.
"I'm here to get you the 18-24 year-old demographic," so said Justin Bieber to Billy Crystal during an opening segment that saw the nine-time Oscar host insert himself in Best Picture nominees "Hugo," "The Artist," "Midnight In Paris"
